Ever since Bonang Matheba stepped away from the spotlight during the pandemic her millions of fans and followers (me included) wondered what she has been up to, because we all want to know what it’s like Being Bonang.

Earlier this month the multi-award winning TV & Radio host, business woman and 2x Forbes Africa magazine cover girl revealed to her fans on social media that she’s has been working on a shoe and bag collection with international luxury shoe no designer STEVE MADDEN.

With the collection available across all Steve Madden retail stores, online and selected Edgars stores Queen B* will be making an appearance at selected stores including Sandton, Centurion and Gateway Theatre of Shopping in Durban on the 2nd of December 2022.

Bonang began her career as a child star at the tender age of 15. Matheba starred in the 2000’s hit teen sitcom Skout Safari before landing a gig on as host of SABC 2’s Manhattan Fantasy Challenge but this was just the start as she later got her big break on SABC 1’s music show LIVE!... which took her career to another level. It was during this time Bonang started sharing her love for handbags with her fans through her first handbag collection Baby Star, and had a sold out range with clothing retailer LEGIT.

Research Organisation Africa Facts Zone recently reported that Bonang Matheba is the most awarded media personality in Africa. Bonang has won numerous awards including a E! Peoples Choice Award, Glamour Women the of The Year Award, E! Africa’s Pop Culture ICON Award, SA Style ICON Award, Feather Awards, Global Social Award
