South African rapper Usimamane who’s from the city of Durban has been making wakes in the music industry for some time now.

His single “Cheque” is the highest charting Hip Hop song by a local act in the country and tops Spotify’s most streamed SA Hip Hop songs chart, charting the top 20.

As of May 2024, the hit single has gone gold guarning over 400K streams on Spotify and YouTube respectively.
