South African child actor, Litlhohonofatso Litlhakanyane famously known for his fan fourite role of “Tibi” on eTV’s soap apera Scandal has landed his first Hollywood feature film role, playing the lead character Thabo.
The film is directed by seasoned German writer and director Mara Eibl-Eibesfeldt and follows Thabo who lives with his uncle, a ranger at a wildlife reserve in Eswatini, Africa, he dreams of being a private detective. When a rhino is killed for its valuable horn, Thabo’s uncle falls under suspicion. Thabo and his new friend Emma decide to find the real culprits as they care for the rhino’s orphaned calf.
The film is out in North America and Canada.
