Veteran South African actress Connie Chiume has passed away at the age of 72.
The family has confirmed that she died earlier today at Garden City Hospital in Johannesburg.
The iconic both big and small screen icon has starred in shows like Zone 14, Rhythm City and Gomora and also starred in the global box office hit, Marvel studio’s Black Panther and it’s sequel Wakanda Forever.
Her award winning roles have made her a household name, famously making the term ‘ma baby’ her signature line as this was her famous like on the eTV soapie Rhythm City.
